This year it will be held at Torrey Pines South Golf Course in La Jolla California. They have added 28 bunkers and more than 500 yards making it a good test at 7,607 yards. All eyes once against will be on Tiger Woods who is coming off arthroscopic knee surgery two days after his Masters Tournament. Tiger had hoped to return to action this week for the Memorial Tournament but his rehabbed knee did not allow for it. Tiger will not compete next week at the St Jude Championship in Memphis. Tiger Woods will return to action on June 12th for the US Open Golf Tournament without any competitive action since his Masters 5 under par second place finish. Tiger admitted to being a bit rusty in practice and hopes to sharpen his game for his next Major in a couple of weeks. Wood's had a two-month layoff in 2006 following the death of his father. Upon his return Tiger failed to make the cut at the US Open in his next tournament back on tour. Despite returning cold to the June 12th Major, Odds makers have made Tiger Woods the 6 to 5 favorite to win.
