Keeping your lead arm connected throughout the swing!
Get Rid of Your Chicken Wing!
Much better posture, grip and stance. Working on tightening up the arm and shoulder turn. Working on the proper foot technique coming through.
Kevin's 2nd Swing Sequence aft
Hands in toe up, less left arm flying wedge rotation on the backswing for less popout. Both shots were really well struck

5-1-10 Dade's first hit since getting a pitch to his thigh from a misaligned machine, a line drive to his gut when he was playing the pitching mound, and a bat thrown at his arm during practice. Until this hit, he begged us to let him quit baseball and just play golf. He played three games where he backed away from every pitch because he was scared to hit with the ball again. He didn't back away this time!

Working on shortening arm swing on the way back, more turn, and improving release
6i FO, 3/23/10
Right elbow creates width during downswing. Right wrist angle stays the same. Allowing center of chest to stay centered as you turn back to the ball. Also allowing you to cover the shot with your right shoulder during impact. with handle ahead of club face. aka the good stuff

a decent swing. head still. left arm bent but stable. Early release!! Ugh! R shoulder crunched up into neck

Take at the end of the lesson, CP release, still more up needed but the hands are moving faster through the swing. Left arm needs more work on the release and finish. Head still needs work on the finish as I am still looking down. Still these work both very good shots.

This is my grip as it is today. I would consider it to be fairly "weak" as it's barely a "2 knuckler." It was a "knuckle" stronger in my younger days as I had a LOT more "speed" and really loaded/lagged the club and needed the face to be in a slightly stronger position to square it. Now, as I've lost most of my speed and have a hard time getting into my left side, I had to weaken it to avoid the face turning down too early and hooking it. I'm also having a hard time getting my hand "on top" right now due to not playing/practicing at all for the past few years. (but I'm working on it ;) ) Most would need the hands to be placed on the club "stronger".....both hands acclimated together the same way just rotated away from the target..... However, the way the 2 hands are placed on the club forms ONE "unit" and this is vital IMOP.

New swing changes - spine angle maintained more, right arm position connected until after impact. Seems to be helping the inside path. Release getting better.
A work in progress...

Top 100: Best Dunks Ever (2008
A trip to the local driving range with my friend and brother before going to college. I am a mid-handicap (currently a 12 at the time of this video) left-handed golfer looking to cut of strokes. I still find myself hitting way too many erratic shots on the course that are just wasting strokes, so I will be video taping myself periodically and working hard to improve my swing and get it more consistent. I hope to drop to a low single-digit handicap in the near future, and, like any golfer, I hope to reach scratch. Lots of work to do until then! Please watch the video and read my own thoughts on it below and make your own suggestions if you wish! - - - - - Analysis: While editing the video, I had a lot of time to analyze the practice myself and will offer my own thoughts. Let me know if you agree, disagree, etc. General: You can tell as I get to the longer clubs that my miss is definitely to the left (a slice for us southpaws). I've worked on that with my irons, and through to my 7-iron I can hit a pretty consistent draw now. But it's harder for my longer clubs, so I am constantly working on not coming over the top on the downswing. It's a work in progress. Posture: I was relatively surprised by the consistency and general strength of my posture. It seems that I retain my spine angle pretty well through the swing. I do seem to have balance problems though, especially with the longer clubs, as I get past the impact position, and I don't always seem to hold my follow through ...
